Determination of electrochemical characteristics of the secondary protector alloys based on aluminum and zinc

It is shown that the functional characteristics of the secondary protector zinc-based alloys containing from 1.4 to 44.2 mas.% aluminum, very close to the corresponding characteristics of alloys TSP1-3 according to GOST 26251-84, and secondary aluminum alloy containing 5.8% zinc and 2.1% silicon is higher than the alloy AP2. Application of automatic universal corrosion meter “Expert-004" allows you quickly and accurately to determine the basic values of electrochemical characteristics of protector alloys.
