The paper describes the experimental equipment and methods of research, the results of comparative evaluation of general corrosion rates obtained for various structural materials by means of linear polarization resistance (LPR) and gravimetry methods confirmed the possibility of using LPR for automated monitoring of corrosion activity of work and technological environments in power industry.
