Viscosity-temperature characteristics and protective ability of thin surface films on base of fresh and waste (190 moto-h) Mobil-1 oil and emulgin anticorrosion additive (1…10 mass.%) for carbon steel St3 protection in atmosphere with high SO2 content (0.1…10 vol. % – initial and 1,1∙10–5…6,7∙10–2 vol. % equilibrium concentration) are compared. Protective efficiency of the oil films in the liquid phase, influence of presence and concentration of SO2, emulgin and medium corrosion action duration are estimated.
