The surface strength of metal and related with its durability against corrosion fatigue is largely conditioned by interaction of water molecules in adsorptive layer and in a smaller measure depends on a charge of a metal surface. The increase of quantity of adsorbed water oriented to metal both oxygen, and hydrogen atom results in a decrease of durability. However, at enough high surface concentrations of molecules of water adsorbed by hydrogen atom arises adsorptive structure hardening surface of metal. This leads to increasing of copper resistance against corrosion fatigue.
