The protective efficacy of inhibited oil films based on fresh and waste synthetic oil and emulgine against corrosion of carbon steel in 0.5M NaCl solutions containing an increased content of sulfur oxide (IV) has been studied. The anticorrosive efficiency of oil films in the liquid and gas phases, the influence of the presence and concentration of SO2, emulgine on it have been estimated.
