Abstract

This work is devoted to the development and study of the anticorrosive properties of preservation fluids based on salts of natural petroleum acids (NPA) and amidoamines for the protection of metal structures from atmospheric corrosion. The preservation fluids were prepared by adding synthesized Co, Ni, Zn, Mn, and Ba salts of NPA metals isolated from a mixture of Baku crude oils in a two-phase aqueous-hydrocarbon medium and amidoamines to T-30 and T-22 turbine oils. It was shown that the protective effect increases with an increase in the concentration of the studied NPA salts from 5 to 10% by weight. The best results were obtained with the addition of NPA cobalt salt to T-30 turbine oil. It was found that, to create more effective preservation fluids, it is more practical to use amidoamine compositions with salts of synthesized NPA as inhibitors.
